Ultra-Light HTC Vive Flow VR Headset Introduced
HTC Vive introduced its new virtual reality headset, the HTC Vive Flow, which features a lightweight and innovative design, during an online event the other day. It is quite impressive that the device, which was initially offered for sale in the US, weighs only 189 grams.
The device, which features two 1600x1600 screens (full resolution was not disclosed) that are said to offer a 1.6K resolution per eye and a 75 Hz refresh rate, comes with adjustable (IPD) lenses offering a 100-degree field of view. Featuring dual speakers and a noise cancellation feature for its microphones, the HTC Vive Flow offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space.
The sales price of the device has been set at $499. Those who pre-order by October 31 will be able to get a carrying case worth $49 for free alongside the new virtual reality headset.
