VIVEPORT, HTC’s pioneering VR app store and subscription service platform, announced a strategic collaboration with studio and production company BANDAI NAMCO Pictures (BN Pictures), which brings animation content to a new dimension in the virtual environment, via a recently published blog post .

According to the statement, over the next few months, new services will be introduced on Viveport, allowing users ranging from hardcore gamers to casual viewers to enjoy new immersive animations and virtual social interactions. BN Pictures , known for producing original animation series with strong commercial potential such as the ‘Aikatsu!’ series, ‘Battle Spirits’ series, and ‘Tiger & Bunny’ series, and Viveport will work closely together to build and develop the VR ecosystem to provide consumers access to a wide range of virtual experiences.
