In a blog post , Facebook announced new sales figures regarding the content sold for the Quest virtual reality headset in the Oculus store . Surpassing the $100 million sales figure, the Oculus Quest store has successfully etched its name into VR history. By the way, it is worth remembering that the Oculus Quest, along with its sibling Rift S, was launched exactly one year ago.

Some data was also shared for Oculus Quest, which achieved significant success in a period of 1 year. Out of this $100 million, Facebook says that 20 games have each earned at least $1 million, and 10 of them have reached $2 million in sales.

The Covid-19 pandemic worldwide has forced people to stay at home, and this quarantine period has increased the sales of VR headsets. Therefore, Oculus, which has not been able to keep up with the sales for the last few months, also added that they are working hard for new VR headsets and will ensure they are back in stock in stores as soon as possible.

We might hear more up-to-date data and perhaps a new virtual reality headset at the Oculus Connect 7 event, which will be held online this year due to the pandemic.
