A research team from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Griffith University in Australia has built a quantum device that can generate all possible futures in simultaneous quantum superposition.

This quantum computer, created by scientists from Griffith University and Nanyang Technological University, uses less memory than a classical computer and, according to the research, can hold two superpositions consisting of 16 different possibilities.

Mile Gu: “When we think about the future, we are faced with vast possibilities. For example, even if we have only two choices every minute, in less than half an hour there are 14 million possible futures. In less than a day, the number exceeds the number of atoms in the universe.”
