Google announces new security tools for G Suite
Google has introduced new security tools with a blog post published for G Suite, a cloud computing-based suite designed especially for professional use, featuring popular and useful tools like Gmail, Google Drive, Google Hangouts, Google Calendar, and Google Docs. It announced several new security tools for G Suite administrators and users, including a new 2-step verification (2FA) option as well as one-time security codes based on security keys.
Especially for the end user and the part that caught my attention, Google has made a change in the 2-factor authentication system by offering a one-time use code option in cases where security keys do not work.
