Raspberry Pi 4 announced with different RAM options and 4K display support
With a blog post published today, the Raspberry Foundation announced the Raspberry Pi 4 with 2 4K display outputs, 1/2/4 GB LPDDR4 supported RAM options, a 28nm ARM Cortex-A72 processor that performs about 3 times better than the previous generation, and a USB Type-C port.
The international pricing for the 1/2/4 GB RAM models of the new mini-computer, which stands out with its PC-like performance, has been set at $35/$45/$55 respectively. For the Raspberry Pi 4, which went on sale in Turkey simultaneously with the rest of the world, 2 and 4 GB RAM options are available. The price has been set at 391.18 TL for the 2 GB model and 486.80 TL for the 4 GB model. For now, the fact that the 2 GB model is currently on sale can be considered good news.
Due to the change in the number and location of the new Raspberry model’s ports, a newly compatible case has also gone on sale. Additionally, a new Raspbian version based on Debian 10 Buster is arriving to get maximum efficiency from the performance increase. Finally, the device, which gained a modern USB Type-C port instead of a micro-USB port, also received 5V/3A power input support.
