Google has removed the Play Movies & TV application, where movie rentals or purchases were made, from the Daydream VR platform. However, Daydream users will be able to watch the movies they rented through their libraries in the YouTube VR application. Furthermore, from now on, mobile phones or computers must be used to rent movies from the YouTube application.

Google’s dreams of establishing a social media platform had resulted in failure. It also seems to be falling behind its competitors in the fields of virtual reality and augmented reality. I am looking forward to more effective steps from Google regarding VR.
