Artificial intelligence completes an unfinished composition of the famous Czech composer Antonin Dvorak 115 years later
A Luxembourg-based company named AIVA Technologies accepted the challenge of completing the unfinished composition of the famous composer Antonin Dvorak, who passed away 115 years ago, entrusted it to an artificial intelligence named AIVA, and received the result after 72 hours. The composition will be performed by the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra next November.
It is known that AIVA has been composing ’emotional music’ for films, television commercials, and video games since 2016. Because the company’s library contains relevant and similar data, AIVA can usually compose standard works in even under a minute, but completing Dvorak’s composition took 72 hours.
