The US government has launched a new website that will host initiatives involving efforts to create, apply, and regulate artificial intelligence. The AI.gov site comes a month after President Trump signed an executive order ( 13859 ) defining the country’s policy on artificial intelligence. This includes goals such as encouraging relevant government agencies to ensure sustainable investment in the sector, reducing barriers to AI in driving innovation, and creating an action plan that will provide the US with a strategic advantage in its role against “foreign competitors”.
