European Commission Invests 2 Billion Euros in AI and Innovation
According to Euronews, the European Commission announced that it will allocate 2 billion Euros over the next two years to develop artificial intelligence as well as additional innovation systems. The funds will also help to create and finance the European Innovation Council.
Carlos Moedas, the commissioner responsible for research, science, and innovation, stated that they need to focus on innovation to maintain competitiveness with the rest of the world and improve our daily lives. ( Source )
