With an announcement made today, HTC has started pre-sales for the Vive Pro virtual reality headset. With the launch of the next-generation VR headset, priced at 799USD (headset only, excluding controllers), the price of the previously available HTC Vive dropped by $100 to the $499 level. The virtual reality headset, which will begin shipping on April 5–6, has been highly anticipated by enthusiasts for a long time.
